about me

Hi! I'm Julianna - I hold a degree in Media and Communications with minors in Computer Science and Art from Drew University. Being a first-generation graduate and only child is essential to the development of who I am today.
My passion for design was ignited through a knack for uploading custom graphics into video games, typically done by typing segments of code. This bridged my interests in computer science and social media, allowing me to complete my degree and gain fluency in Adobe Suite, Python, and Java. During my time at college, I managed communications for Drew's radio station (WMNJ), managed a creative campaign for TEDx, and worked in IT.
Over the past year, I rebranded and edited educational articles for Kids on the Yard, a tutoring company, which ignited my interest in education. I currently work as a substitute high school teacher and part time tutor. I also am creative director of Partially Shy Literary Magazine, where our team believes art is never a waste. I love teaching and learning new things!
